Frida Kahlo, the iconic Mexican Painter from the early part of 1900s. The portrait is to capture the spirit and essence of Frida Kahlo, depicted in her Tehuana dress, wearing colonial-style earrings and a native-style necklace, symbolising her European and indigenous roots respectively. The background was inspired by one of Frida’s painting – portrait of Lucha Maria.
